"Gramma" Tilda with Hat

Happy Monday going on Tuesday, Everyone. The reason I entitled her "Gramma" Tilda is because after I colored her up to match the DP, I went to check on the name of this MME Wild Asparagus DP and it read "My Gramma Floral" so I had to chuckle to myself and say, "no wonder I was driven to color her with drab colors" and actually, there aren't too many bright colors in the design right? Anways, the base is SU! very vanilla, then cranberry crisp cardstock, the MME DP. I bought these great crocheted doilies from a recent trade show that was in town this weekend but it is stark white so I distressed it with TH scattered straw and frayed burlap, then I wove some ribbon through the holes and tied a bow at the top. I punched two circles from the MME DP and placed one on the back of the doily, added foam tape pieces through the doily, then placed the second circle over it so I would have a "base" to attach to my card. There wasn't much room to add any more embellies so I left it as it and instead, completed the inside of the card (yay!) and added a sentiment, "Beautiful is what you're about ... inside and out" by Stampendous (2001!). I hope the weather is a little better tomorrow because it's golf day for me! Thank you for visiting with me and I wish you all a wonderful week!

Wow, Cami, I'm speechless. That never happens to me! This card is so beautiful - and I don't know why, but it reminds me of that movie "Somewhere In Time" with Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. Absolutely breathtaking! Thanks so much for sharing! xoxo, Linda

This is absolutely gorgeous. I really like the way that you left the girlie kinda plain but allowed the other things to speak. This is a very warm and beautiful design.

Cami, your card is stunning. And I disagree, it's not 'drab' at all. I love the sharp contrast between the vanilla and cranberry. Simply lovely!

I have to remember to dress up the inside of the card more often. When I complete the outside, I have this tendency to say "done" LOL!!

I love the doilie with the ribbon wover in. . so pretty! Yay! You did the inside too!! It completes the card so nicely!! As always, you did a BEAUTIFUL job!!

Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
