Wonderful You-Thankful Me!

Hi Everyone! I didn't turn on my 'puter this morning so I could sit down and make a card (finally), nothing fancy or hard. Actually, my friend Kellie S. made me a birthday card and I loved it so I wanted to use her layout. I colored Tilda with Copics (hair: E35, E37; shirt: Y21, Y23; jumpsuit: B93, B95). I used SU! CS so saffron and pacific point. Sentiment from SU! Sweet Little Sentiments set. I also used embroidery floss on all the little buttons to dress it up a little. Thank you for stopping by, and have a fun-filled weekend, whatever you may do.

A RAK From Keri Sereika!

Can you imagine my surprise when I got my mail today and found this beautiful card from Keri Sereika??!!! She posted this on her blog last week and I wished it had my address on it and lo and behold! Today my wish came true and I can actually hold it in my hands! Thank you so very much Keri! You truly made my day a happy one, and I still can't stop smiling! Isn't this just a beautiful card! You can read all the details on her blog.

Isn't She Sweet...Daisy

I think Daisy is the cutest little girl and I love working with her. Both images are colored with Copics, and the first card has little swarovski (?) crystals in her hair and on the flowers, top and bottom borders done with MS border punch. The sticker says, "friends are the flowers in the garden of life." The second card was made using paper from a Daisy D's paper pack, with the zig-zag edge, and sentiment is from SU! Heard From the Heart. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful stampin' weekend.

Sugar Nellie Cards

The following two cards were made last year and were posted in PCP but I am moving them over to my blog as a "journal" of my cardmaking so to speak. I will be doing this for a short while so bear with me. Most of my time recently has been spent with Nicole as she gets ready to launch her new rubber stamp line, Inky Impressions.

Here is a simple and quick card with Tilda in her pretty heart dress. I colored Tilda with Copics: RV11 for her dress, E50, E00 and R00 for her face and body, E18 and E15 for her hair. She is sitting on a punched out heart frame from an old Marvy punch. I also punched a flourish from EK Success Paper Shapers punch. The main background paper is Basic Grey, Bittersweet collection on Bazzill brown CS. Both sentiments are from SU! This is a quick card as Valentine's Day is soon approaching. Thank you for stopping by.

My True Love

I made this card the other day, but please excuse the blurriness. My camera just won't cooperate with me and the scan is not the best. I'm still doing pink and browns and can't stop just yet. The heart is from my new Sizzix valentine collection, Ornamental Hearts, cut from SU! pink pirouette (my fav pink!) and popped up on foam tape strips. I colored both Tilda and Edwin with my Prismacolor pencils and OMS. The tag is cut from Teresa Collins "Crush" tag collection, a sheet full of valentine sentiments. Flowers are from Prima. The bottom of the DP (don't know from where) is punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. Well, that's it for now. Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend!

Another Valentine Card

Here's another "Pink Tilda with Heart" card I made. I'm trying to use up the DP I cut for my other card so I can clear it off my table. The BG paper is from the Cupid Collection from Sweetwater Scrapbook, the heart cutouts is from the new Sizzix Intertwined Hearts Bigz die, the photo corner is cut from a Cuttlebug corner die, and I punched out the sentiment window with SU! word window punch. Behind that I stamped the sentiment "love you" from SU! Short & Sweet set. I love pinks with brown and black. Thanks for stopping by today, and have a wonderful week!
