Happy Monday going on Tuesday, Everyone. The reason I entitled her "Gramma" Tilda is because after I colored her up to match the DP, I went to check on the name of this MME Wild Asparagus DP and it read "My Gramma Floral" so I had to chuckle to myself and say, "no wonder I was driven to color her with drab colors" and actually, there aren't too many bright colors in the design right? Anways, the base is SU! very vanilla, then cranberry crisp cardstock, the MME DP. I bought these great crocheted doilies from a recent trade show that was in town this weekend but it is stark white so I distressed it with TH scattered straw and frayed burlap, then I wove some ribbon through the holes and tied a bow at the top. I punched two circles from the MME DP and placed one on the back of the doily, added foam tape pieces through the doily, then placed the second circle over it so I would have a "base" to attach to my card. There wasn't much room to add any more embellies so I left it as it and instead, completed the inside of the card (yay!) and added a sentiment, "Beautiful is what you're about ... inside and out" by Stampendous (2001!). I hope the weather is a little better tomorrow because it's golf day for me! Thank you for visiting with me and I wish you all a wonderful week!

Sunshine-y Tilda (with Tulips)
Happy sunny Sunday Everyone! I felt like making a sunshine-y card today so I picked Tilda with her tulips. I used SU! Summer Sun cardstock for the base (5.5" square), DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies DP, a white floral embossed cardstock (but you can't tell in the pic, and has no manufacturer's name) that I punched out with my EK Success sunflower (?) punch for the sun. I stamped Tilda with Memento Black and colored her with Copics (face: E50, R00, E00; dress: R81, R83, E0000-lace trim; tulips: Y11, Y15, Y18, YG223). I cut Tilda and mounted her with foam tape on the yellow ribbon placed on a strip of white lace. I also colored and cut two tulip bunches and mounted them on the border, and also two more bows for Tilda's hair and one for the bunch of tulips. The sentiment is from Printworks (2003!). That's it for today...lazy kind of Sunday so something fast was my goal. Have a wonderful week coming up and thank you for stopping by today.

Las Vegas - Hawaii Home Style!
Happy Monday Everyone! Sorry, no stamping stuff today, just something fun I want to share with you. This is how I spend my time at nights, since we aren't able to go to Las Vegas and I miss that place so much! We used to go twice a year but it's prohibitive right now right? So, last week my SIL came by and uploaded this "Win Poker" game on my husband's computer, and I thought, I'll pretend to be in "Lost Wages" at night. And guess what?! I actually hit my very first "Royal Flush" and my hubby said he'll be the banker so whatever I win, he'll pay me! Of course, that would be a fraction of the real thing...4,000 quarters equals $1,000 in Vegas money, but at our household, it equates to $40 (cheap, cheap, cheap!) Can't pass that up right? I can buy new stamps! Of course, I have to pay for the credits I purchase to play. But, why can't it happen in real life? I mean, I've never hit a Royal Flush! So, every night has been "pretend night in Las Vegas" in my hubby's office! Just wanted to make you laugh at my "make believe" world side of me LOL!

Tilda With Ponytails
Happy Easter Everyone! What do you plan to do with all the boiled eggs? Just kidding! I don't have an Easter card today, but an older Tilda image. I received a card from my friend Tricia and I loved the layout so I told her I'd be CASEing her card altho I had to change a few dimensions because of my large Tilda and I already had her colored up when I made another card earlier and didn't want her to just "sit" on my desk. I used SU! pacific point and sky blue cardstock, then Bazzill polka dotted embosed in a golden yellow shade (don't know the color) and Chatterbox DP. Tilda and her bench is colored with Copics. I added some Prima flowers with brads and attached a small gold heart charm that says "Made with Love" to the ribbon with a small safety pin. Feels good to get some "pending" things off the desk. Have an "egg-citing" day and I send you all Easter Blessings. Thank you for hopping by today.

"Luv You This Much" Dragonfly Tilda
This is my second post for today as tomorrow I'll be out just about all day having my car serviced, eating lunch and shopping! I know, I'm still using up my DCWV DP pack so I hope you don't mind! Card base is 5.5" square using SU! sky blue CS and features the dragonfly Tilda from the spring collection. After stamping Tilda on PTI white CS, I stamped her wing portion on vellum and colored from the back, then adhered her slightly askew so the "wings" show a bit more, dressed it up with nail art blings, likewise for the two butterflies. Her antennaes (sp?) are way too intricate to cut so I cut them off and adhered some "flower stamens" instead. I love the way her arms are outstretched so I computer generated the sentiment and punched it out with with my Marvy scallop heart punch (yellow punch) and colored it the same Copic blue as her outfit. Hope you enjoy her! Have a wonderful tomorrow and thank you for stopping by!
Edwin Chasing Butterflies
Happy MondayEveryone! Today's card features Edwin from the Chasing Butterflies collection. I think this is only my third card I ever made using Edwin...I love girly-girl stuff! The card base is 5.5" square and I used SU! sky blue CS, the DP is from DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies 12" stack. I stamped Edwin and the tiny butterflies and dragonflies on Paper Trey white with Memento Tuxedo black ink, colored the image with Copics, drew a brown line for the "ground", then used Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I shaded the background with a light blue chalk from Pebbles, Inc. but it doesn't show up too well, then I added some Flower Soft here and there to take away the sparseness on the ground. I stamped and colored the butterfly, and stamped once again on vellum, colored it from the back, cut it out and adhered the body part to the main butterfly's body. Lastly I added some blue ribbon and attached a butterfly charm, and also a blue butterfly brad to Edwin's net. The DP has alot of sparkly silver in it and it is hard to photograph. Hope you're having a wonderful day, and thank you for dropping by. Have a wonderful, fun, stampin' week!

Tilda Chasing Butterflies! Love Her!
Happy Sunday Everyone! Yesterday I had a chance to finally stamp Tilda chasing butterflies and it went pretty fast because in addition to Tilda, I only stamped the butterfly. My card base is 5.5" square from SU! Sky Blue CS, then on top of that I cut a metallic silver CS, then DCWV "Blossoms and Butterflies" stack (12") so I cut that into fourths and picked one corner. Tilda and the butterfly are colored with Copics. I punched a total of 8 of the small butterflies using MS butterfly punch and adhered them together to cover the white backside, then I punched 4 butteflies from vellum, colored it the same color as Tilda's dress, then adhered the body part only and added some nail art bling. On the Magnolia butterfly, I also stamped it on vellum and cut it out and adhered it to the CS body then adhered that to Tilda's hand. I finished it off with a bow and a stick pin with a butterfly bead, some pearls and crystals. the sun is not shining bright today in Hawaii so my card looks "gloomy." Hardly any stamping! Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

"Bloomin" Tilda with Tulips
Happy Saturday Everyone! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Here's another Tilda with Tulip card. My friend Kellie S gave me these tulip papers by K and Co. and I thought this Tilda would be appropriate. The basic card is 5.5" square, CS from SU! Pink Pirouette, Nesties Label Two die using red linen CS, the round medallion is a 4" round circle punch using Fiskars with SU! Pink Pirouette CS, sentiment is from SU! Bella's Bloom stamp set, and the tag is die-cut from SU! new Sizzix Lots of Tags. Ribbons and flowers from my stash, and the pin is made using a corsage pin and some pearls and crystal beads. Well, Kellie, this card is for YOU!
Thank you for stopping by and I wish you all a fun-filled weekend!

Tilda Sitting on Basket with Eggs
Happy Thursday Everyone! Today's card features Tilda with Hat sitting on a basket with eggs. This is really my "boo-boo" card because after coloring all of the basket image and while coloring the last egg, which happens to be the yellow one, for some reason, a chemical reaction (?) occured when I went in with a lighter shade of yellow to blend the darker one and OMGosh, it started turning "green" yikes! So I thought I could "erase" it with my colorless blender but things just got worse and I wasn't planning on recoloring the whole image so I cut out another egg and colored it then pasted it over so you'll see it popped a bit! I just hate when that happens. Anyway, back to the card, the CS is CTMH spring iris, the DP is Basic Grey Lilly/Oh Baby/Girl, I used EK Success flourish punch, added some pretty translucent pearl dew drops, and added a little ribbon flower to Tilda's hat, and topped it off with Prima flowers and Flower Soft on the bottom of the basket. The (work) week is coming to an end so hang in there for one more day then have fun on the weekend! Thank you for stopping by.

Spring Kit Tilda with her "Love Bug"
Happy "over the hump day" Everyone! Here's another Tilda from the spring kit holding her cute little lady bug. This card is a 5.5" square and I used some CTMH CS in Spring Iris and Lilac Mist. The DP is from heidi grace, "Sweetest Bug/Love Bug" collection that is mounted with dimensionals over the ribbon/lace trim. All images colored with Copics and the Magnolia lady bug is also mounted on dimensionals. I used a MS double scallop punch that I thought would work well with the scallops on Tilda's dress. I have a lot of DPs so that's why you're seeing so much of these on my backgrounds...plus, less stamping for me LOL! Thank you for stopping by today, and have a wonderful week.
