<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I made a "Z-Fold" card and here is the front featuring "Miyoko." Here's what the inside looks like:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and enjoying lovely weather wherever you are! Today is <span style="color: magenta;">Day 3 of Sister Stamps Birthday Blog Hop</span>, and if you came here from the sweet and talented <a href="http://simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #674ea7;"><b>Linda's blog,</b></span></a> you are in the right place. Today I'd like to introduce you to <span style="color: magenta;">"Mariko,"</span> carrying a gift in her hand! I think she is so adorable! Look at her:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeC9hel2kBmEqloHFFHWbRhO6UddulfZBYegUfeOHp18C-Wg5wyKXzAuUKFN3zef7VlevFRZDmnot-rYjIClBpUyX1uo2a8KlCuxoD83v3p3s-F7fPkMdVB34wPZ84epYLRJmvSDSPmFNv/s1600/DSC02830.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeC9hel2kBmEqloHFFHWbRhO6UddulfZBYegUfeOHp18C-Wg5wyKXzAuUKFN3zef7VlevFRZDmnot-rYjIClBpUyX1uo2a8KlCuxoD83v3p3s-F7fPkMdVB34wPZ84epYLRJmvSDSPmFNv/s320/DSC02830.JPG" width="311" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Today's card is a 5.5" square. I used a MS Deep Edge "Daisy Lace" punch and punched out the sides of the card front, leaving about a 1/4" border on the top and bottom to keep the card intact. The center panel is a piece of wrapping paper I purchased from a local (Heiko) packaging supply store. The pink flowers are all embossed and feels like "puffy paint" (I don't know how else to explain it LOL!).</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I just love Mariko and Miyoko (introduced on Thursday), so I made another card with these two cuties:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjysjwddiDBlxb9F7-4vvrBs4qDnDOdKN_gNWXC0LEvBAPKCZYGj9sGSTvkTEBHPED9rCG1JmPzgyAfY18GLuoCEdfnpzrfINsCYJXMXuVRJsrz-cg_TZsDO5ugwMsNFLlJfl2o_a9pWbp3/s1600/DSC02834.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="315" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjysjwddiDBlxb9F7-4vvrBs4qDnDOdKN_gNWXC0LEvBAPKCZYGj9sGSTvkTEBHPED9rCG1JmPzgyAfY18GLuoCEdfnpzrfINsCYJXMXuVRJsrz-cg_TZsDO5ugwMsNFLlJfl2o_a9pWbp3/s320/DSC02834.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">So here's "Miyoko" on the front of a Circle Flip-It card (Sizzix die) and I placed her on a Sizzix "Flowers #3" die-cut that looks like a "sakura" flower. Again I used some wrapping paper, this time in pink, and added a border using the MS "Cherry Blossom Trim" punch. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Here's "Mariko" on the inside of the flip card:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for stopping by today and please come back tomorrow for Day 4 of Sister Stamps Birthday Blog Hop. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The next stop on your journey is to the sweet and talented <a href="http://crazyforpaper.blogspot.com/"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Jenny's blog!</span></b></a></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Warm Aloha Hugs,</span><br />

Thank you for returning today to Day 2 of Sister Stamps Birthday Blog Hop! If you came here from the lovely and talented <a href="http://simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com/"><b><span style="color: #351c75;">Linda's blog,</span></b></a> then you are in the right place. If not, go back and start at <a href="http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: magenta;"><b>Sister Stamps </b></span></a>so you don't miss any of the wonderful creations by the talented gals!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Today I'd like to introduce <span style="color: #38761d;"><b>"Takeo" </b></span>from the new set to be released on July 1st. Isn't he a cutie, running with some balloons tied to a bamboo stick! I decided to make a center step card and embossed the two side panels using a bamboo embossing folder by Darice.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi8Fs9P8yIWQf2PBlSgslB18cgRuWSeD1PUOcJsqFhCA7oFhFInQOgpFnONQBA-BI8lDdkmeMJiv25zl-LsGwJvq01K6sOLRz6awlj2MDBMXuwOhgKNnyaKg8X-bIhIUGXQK8LIN1O9Xob/s1600/DSC02831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi8Fs9P8yIWQf2PBlSgslB18cgRuWSeD1PUOcJsqFhCA7oFhFInQOgpFnONQBA-BI8lDdkmeMJiv25zl-LsGwJvq01K6sOLRz6awlj2MDBMXuwOhgKNnyaKg8X-bIhIUGXQK8LIN1O9Xob/s320/DSC02831.JPG" width="308" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Here's the inside of the card:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM42C2aoPSN7GsPFhyUwmvoaJfwJ_j9wha0dJ2vfI__yehIzAlWwthp4-ifa8VDilm39TUDvyGiINSh0JdhjrGX6tEUks6itCgsDejXMf-qL_NqNTvvyhgSSxVL5u_hnRTQWYKiBB8_8XF/s1600/DSC02832.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM42C2aoPSN7GsPFhyUwmvoaJfwJ_j9wha0dJ2vfI__yehIzAlWwthp4-ifa8VDilm39TUDvyGiINSh0JdhjrGX6tEUks6itCgsDejXMf-qL_NqNTvvyhgSSxVL5u_hnRTQWYKiBB8_8XF/s320/DSC02832.JPG" width="216" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I kept the inside simple without frills since "Takeo" may not want anything "girlie" so I stamped and cut out the balloons from the image and computer generated the sentiment to congratulate Sister Stamps.Very simple card. Okay, your next stop is<b style="background-color: #f3f3f3;"><span style="color: magenta;"> <a href="http://crazyforpaper.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: magenta;">Jenny's blog!</span></a></span></b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for stopping by today, and I wish you all a fun-filled weekend! Remember to come by again tomorrow!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Warm Aloha Hugs,</span><br />

Hope your week is going well. Welcome to <a href="http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/"><b>Sister Stamps Birthday Blog Hop</b></a> as we celebrate their 1st Anniversary! Isn't it amazing how time flies and before we knew it, Sister Stamps is One Year Old, and continues to offer the cutest Asian stamp images. I am so grateful and honored to have been invited by <span style="color: magenta;"><b>Jenny</b></span> to join her uber talented group of gals for this special occasion. The Birthday Blog Hop will run for <b>four</b> days as we introduce the new images that will be available on July 1, 2012, and starts at Sister Stamps. If you've come here from<b> <a href="http://simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com/">Linda's blog </a></b>(Simple and Sassy Creations) you are in the right place. If not, start back at Sister Stamps so you don't miss any of the beautiful creations. So, without further ado, today I'd like to share with you two cards I made featuring "Miyoko" and here she is:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEPmfcuz11WW9Q5t8HhABsgEIaXmctQ-jdwpBfV27SpikauqLYDHFuGSpcocy70r5VpBSUkhWDfLtZU0rojRfhRPFbHDaQXgqDXQAMHWW4WrFLL6573SRExLc5oTsEQq0jO2nvIUYHYTdr/s1600/DSC02836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEPmfcuz11WW9Q5t8HhABsgEIaXmctQ-jdwpBfV27SpikauqLYDHFuGSpcocy70r5VpBSUkhWDfLtZU0rojRfhRPFbHDaQXgqDXQAMHWW4WrFLL6573SRExLc5oTsEQq0jO2nvIUYHYTdr/s320/DSC02836.JPG" width="313" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This card is 6"x6" so I could fit the banner at the top. I stamped Miyoko with Memento Tuxedo Black on cryogen white CS and colored her with Copics. I added some white dots with a white Sharpie Poster Paint marker to pick up the dots on the DP (My Little Show Box-"Aiko-Blue Sky"). The banner was die-cut using a MFT "Banner Day" die, the white flower stems die-cut using a Memory Box "Fresh Daisies" die for Simon Say Stamp, and the border strip was punched using a MS "Cherry Blossom Trim" punch.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I wasn't happy with the following card easel card I made, but thought I'd share it anyway:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Hello fellow crafters! Hope you all had a wonderful week and are ready for the weekend. I am so embarassed about today's post because it is LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG overdue! Back in February, I won this darlin' image called "Shroom" from <a href="http://www.athousandsheetsofpaper.blogspot.com/"><b>Amy Young's (A Thousand Sheets of Paper)</b> </a>Sweet November Collection. Amy also sent me the card she created and let me tell you, her coloring is so awesome! I was over the moon excited to be able to actually hold it in my hands one of her many gorgeous creations! She is just the sweetest and most talented young lady out there. Her creations are just so fun and her coloring and techniques are awesome. I've learned alot through her video tutorials on <a href="http://www.colormecopic.blogspot.com/"><b>"Color Me Copic." </b></a> So, on to my card that I created and completely forgot to post as I went through a "dry spell" and was MIA trying to find my mojo. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I used a MS border punch to create the side borders on the card base. All cardstock by Bazzill. I found these two DPs with mushrooms on them and couldn't decide which to use so I used them both. I stamped "Shroom" on cryogen white CS and colored her with Copics, cut her out, and added a small pink bling for her earring. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps (Ticket Notes) and placed on the matching Fancy Ticket die. It's hard to see, but I added some stickles on the dots on Shroom's "cap." Small flowers from my stash</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I kept the inside very simple and carried through the same layout as the front, only this time, I used the mushroom border as a pocket for my note to tuck inside:</span></div>

<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">A very clean an simple card. I hope Amy likes this card. I think I was more nervous coloring "Shroom" after seeing Amy's gorgeous coloring! <span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Hello fellow crafting friends! Hope you all had a fun-filled weekend and ready to tackle a new week. I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted, but I've been in a crafting rut and had no mojo to create except to do "mindless" things like no coloring, and no time constraints with challenges LOL! I did fiddle around doing other crafty things and this is one project that took up most of my time as I had to make several for some crafting friends.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; text-align: left;">Easter was fast approaching, and so I decided not to do a typical Easter basket for some goodies to give away as RAKs so I made some origami star boxes instead. It looked quite bare as I didn't want to add any handles on the boxes, so I created a "lid" for the box and here is what I came up with:</span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2X6364XtQ5Fk89Y8xS9mVevYvHyDt1uQZC5ka_EhCWcThjgs0iEOi9iiKYQA1D1xSKU7dISaJZDtxTwJ-mpfFAVKM5F6GOiSO3MCiS_4R2TEvgXpyYGqxq3kZM1hQUplTNKcpmAhNrTQ-/s1600/DSC02793.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="260" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2X6364XtQ5Fk89Y8xS9mVevYvHyDt1uQZC5ka_EhCWcThjgs0iEOi9iiKYQA1D1xSKU7dISaJZDtxTwJ-mpfFAVKM5F6GOiSO3MCiS_4R2TEvgXpyYGqxq3kZM1hQUplTNKcpmAhNrTQ-/s320/DSC02793.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I adhered some lace trim under the four "petals" of the box and tucked them underneath the box. I die-cut a piece of chipboard and matching DP using my SB Labels One die (adhered them together), and then adhered it to the bottom of the box for stability. I also made a mini double-pocket envelope card/note holder and again added some lace trim. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Here's what the inside of the box looks like with the "lid" removed:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvNakccSljvbF_w_d7JAsiLxdyOJmG7p3a8_Zuki-JHwBsCYUiGeuNdl68446vZwqzkDJBVXgNMwmK1JYj_eIn7MaOXe-kMhY-gYQ69ZMiydv7Oif8KhUZJ7_zrq_52qiuJ4q9GWAl585a/s1600/DSC02795.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvNakccSljvbF_w_d7JAsiLxdyOJmG7p3a8_Zuki-JHwBsCYUiGeuNdl68446vZwqzkDJBVXgNMwmK1JYj_eIn7MaOXe-kMhY-gYQ69ZMiydv7Oif8KhUZJ7_zrq_52qiuJ4q9GWAl585a/s320/DSC02795.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">There are many instructions out there on how to make an origami star box; just Google it. For my boxes, I used Bo Bunny Passion Fruit Flourish DP cut down to 9" x 9". It's a double-sided paper and very pretty!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">To make the "lid" I just measured the opening of the box and added a 1/2" seam all the way around. In this case, the opening was 2.5" so I cut my CS 3.5" square, and scored 1/2" all the way around, made some snips to create a shallow "box" then topped it with a die-cut chipboard/coaster using my SB Labels One die. I made a lace rosette to match the box and popped on a medium sized rose to use as the "knob" on the lid.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you all a wonderful week.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Warm Aloha Hugs,</span></div>

I just got my new stamps from CC (Rubber) Designs and thought it would be fun to play in their <a href="http://atsblog.typepad.com/wednesdayschallenge/">Wednesday Sketch Challenge</a> and then I would have to ink up my new stamps...I usually just store them for later LOL! I decided to use Bunny Lucy and here she is:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixxmnXh0E6iGGP_zHNEcL-W0mw8auU_2wmdFjkG0wBJfH_fsrD5Ug6QJIt5ECZFed9qRArNxL4mHsOXl3BMnOTgLrjB_1aXOa6fzgNuvqK9S6Spxq72XJK97wmy4ddP9Kat946V_-NFRHu/s1600/Bunny+Lucy+for+ATS.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixxmnXh0E6iGGP_zHNEcL-W0mw8auU_2wmdFjkG0wBJfH_fsrD5Ug6QJIt5ECZFed9qRArNxL4mHsOXl3BMnOTgLrjB_1aXOa6fzgNuvqK9S6Spxq72XJK97wmy4ddP9Kat946V_-NFRHu/s320/Bunny+Lucy+for+ATS.JPG" width="308" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">My card base is 5.5" x 5.5" from PTI white cardstock. Then I used a mat piece cut from SU! Melon Mambo cs, followed by Jillibean's Egg Drop Soup DP. The side panel with the bunnies (which are hidden!) is from 3 Bugs In a Rug. I inked up Bunny Lucy with Memento tuxedo black and stamped on PTI white cs and colored her with Copics (R85, 83, 81, 00, and E35, 33, 31, 51). I also added some Cotton Candy Stickles to part of her outfit. The sentiment is from CC Designs (Amy R's Spring Logos). The "I (heart) Eggs" sentiment is from Studio G. I die-cut an egg shape from a SB Nested Eggs die, using Melon Mambo cs. This is the inside of the card:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq1oml9BB3fVNUrgsiFM5N4-nxtGkvucB1s3sFAKsQ43Ltq4wgNCdIrQYZHZ9bvwdtEe9uIRU4H2fWQ4fOfFlYW4LW4_20TzLBx369nXoQbHkOz2kyPReEKn4fHNpWr97uLn1Pjgp-5pbN/s1600/Inside+Bunny+Lucy+Card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq1oml9BB3fVNUrgsiFM5N4-nxtGkvucB1s3sFAKsQ43Ltq4wgNCdIrQYZHZ9bvwdtEe9uIRU4H2fWQ4fOfFlYW4LW4_20TzLBx369nXoQbHkOz2kyPReEKn4fHNpWr97uLn1Pjgp-5pbN/s320/Inside+Bunny+Lucy+Card.JPG" width="212" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I thought the bunny design is so cute and just had to put a piece inside of the card since the one I cut for the panel on the front is obscured by the egg shaped mat piece and ribbon. I used the same Jillibean DP on the jotting area with, again, a die-cut egg shape. Below is the sketch from All That Scraps' challenge:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi79OmnXpwVixiNVWZIiJ6juZ4zTjnLV99OTi4QyJdwI0YnY9cz9WuFS3mtgQc2v-D-V2MU94uu1pZnrMjpLpDoVz-IB_sqDoaJ2RgoqYq6KXw98VoWiKmdYu4cC33L-hAphjlBx1eLxrnU/s1600/ATS+Sketch+Challenge.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi79OmnXpwVixiNVWZIiJ6juZ4zTjnLV99OTi4QyJdwI0YnY9cz9WuFS3mtgQc2v-D-V2MU94uu1pZnrMjpLpDoVz-IB_sqDoaJ2RgoqYq6KXw98VoWiKmdYu4cC33L-hAphjlBx1eLxrnU/s320/ATS+Sketch+Challenge.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I'm also joining the following challenges:</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com.au/">Paper Play Challenge</a> - Easter Theme</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com.au/">Cute Card Thursday</a> - Happy Easter</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://charismacardz.blogspot.com/">Charisma Cardz </a>- Easter</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="http://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com.au/">Fab N Funky Challenge </a>- Easter</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />

Hope everything is going great with you. The rains have finally stopped, and here in Hawaii we have the normal blue skies and sunshine. My heart goes out to those that sustained damage to their homes and property from torrential rains and flooding, and those on the Mainland U.S. who also may have weathered tornadoes and loss of loved ones. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.</span></div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I have a quick post today and won't keep you with my blabbering. I finally finished a card for the <b><span style="color: #3d85c6;"><a href="http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/">Just Magnolia & hAnglar and stAnglar</a> </span></b>challenge that is asking for something "Blue and White" and like my last post, I had to work with a limited amount of blue Copic markers. Oh well. . .so without further ado, here is a simple card I came up with using Rose Scented Tilda from the "Sweet Crazy Love Collection" that you can get from Diana's Magnolia-licious online store (just click on the icon on my sidebar). I apologize for the glare. No matter how many times I tried, because of the sheen on the cardstock, I wasn't able to avoid the glare.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieSeIh9C53cIr1LRQXsfO9dWv8PaYQefSK18bMNGxRRuCudM2o9jb6AUNlG_HA-5R7mfA_B7_-6RjPtsA10pPg9WyZmqsiUjf8UfALu6WFlqcLn1Zk1nzKo-XtHM2DptTQc40ozmxV4AxY/s1600/DSC02787.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieSeIh9C53cIr1LRQXsfO9dWv8PaYQefSK18bMNGxRRuCudM2o9jb6AUNlG_HA-5R7mfA_B7_-6RjPtsA10pPg9WyZmqsiUjf8UfALu6WFlqcLn1Zk1nzKo-XtHM2DptTQc40ozmxV4AxY/s320/DSC02787.JPG" width="303" /></a></div><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Basically, my card is a 6"x6" base, followed by Bazzill bling CS (blue) and then a white mat, and another Bazzill bling piece that I embossed with a Lifestyle "Floral" embossing folder and I chose the one with roses. It comes two in a pack. I cut a white mat piece with SB Labels 15 and distressed with "blue silk" dye ink from Paris Trunk. On top of that I die-cut another piece from Magnolia's "Somebunny Loves You - Turquoise Rose" DPs that I've had for a while. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I added some pretty white lace trim on the bottom and added some blue rhinestone bling to each petal. Both Tilda and the sentiment are popped up with foam tape for dimension. That's it as the rest is just stuff from my stash.</span></div><div style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I hope the Spring weather is brightening your day. Stay healthy, be safe, and bask in the sun. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Happy midweek fellow Maggie friends! I have decided to play along in another Color Challenge at the <span style="color: #3d85c6;"><b><a href="http://magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #3d85c6;">Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.</span></a> </b></span> The lovely and talented Norma has chosen <b><span style="color: #0b5394;">Blue</span> </b>& <span style="color: #783f04;"><b>Brown</b></span> for this challenge. I very rarely, if ever, color with blues, so my Copic colors are limited, and I agree, I still need a lot of practicing to improve my Copic coloring skills LOL! Anyway, here is what I came up with:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7jdr8vzS5VnenseL4t9CSMf6AAT8U__a0_pACsDgWaYQeJS8B_wDbvqNpX-fw0qXCanTNPBv5SdSLfp93tpF43PPikJVYFMzlzFMjcdTw1qKdHF1QmmYkdyUaZVfTq5Ja83myo1uTSceU/s1600/Bluebrown+challenge+1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7jdr8vzS5VnenseL4t9CSMf6AAT8U__a0_pACsDgWaYQeJS8B_wDbvqNpX-fw0qXCanTNPBv5SdSLfp93tpF43PPikJVYFMzlzFMjcdTw1qKdHF1QmmYkdyUaZVfTq5Ja83myo1uTSceU/s320/Bluebrown+challenge+1.JPG" width="311" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">My card base is my usual 5.5" x 5.5" and I used SU! chocolate chip, followed by baja blue. All of the DPs are from the Kaiser Craft 6"x6" "Le Chateau Collection" pad. I really liked the print with this "Friendship" sentiment and decided to "offset" it so I wouldn't cover the pretty DP. I die-cut the flourish from SU! kraft CS and used Cheery Lynn's Tropical Flourish die. The little "Love" sentiment is also from this paper pack, and placed on a Memory Box "Ringed Buckle" die-cut, and I added a hemp bow with a little blue flower. The huge flower at the top I made myself with Maya pleated brown ribbon and topped it with a blue rose from WOC. I wanted to mimic the ruffled peony flower. Both Tilda and Love sentiment are mounted on foam tape for dimension.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinOKAY26rY4A1qk5Rg9MMTM5mTriIABuWJzfG1rxks1F-2AsreyMoJGGL6qe6OfwFVTosuk8lfzc1LWYT9alfeXvL5_S3F-tRk5S2Cp-XjTTa1y4e9b3tWjQyERqi-g6qpRQpqh4iBVMbZ/s1600/Bluebrown+inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinOKAY26rY4A1qk5Rg9MMTM5mTriIABuWJzfG1rxks1F-2AsreyMoJGGL6qe6OfwFVTosuk8lfzc1LWYT9alfeXvL5_S3F-tRk5S2Cp-XjTTa1y4e9b3tWjQyERqi-g6qpRQpqh4iBVMbZ/s320/Bluebrown+inside.JPG" width="202" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This is what the inside of the card looks like. I kept it flat and simple. The sentiment you see at the top is from a talented and sweet friend from Idaho (you know who you are...and thank you very much!). I die-cut it using my SB Labels 18 and distressed both layers with DIs. The jotting panel again is very plain for easy mailing. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and for all the encouraging comments I have received. Happy Saturday/Sunday to you all, and I hope you are enjoying your last weekend day before returning to work (if you do work!). I told myself to settle down and make a card with a Tilda since it's been a while and I surprised myself by actually completing it! I want to join the challenge at </span><a href="http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; text-align: left;"><span style="color: #a64d79;"><b>Just Magnolia and hAnglar & stAnglar </b></span></a><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; text-align: left;">and it calls for the color pink, pearls, and lace. So this is what I came up with:</span><br />
<div style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9HS2_oSMSqYFCEe18wc7lWiFKwYWR0a2Bkq0SX5Zwo14RBnMZymPrLbXxdEjGm3ICYWLztXt_FaFyQd8ItvrMHl3vo7dldmOM9pq2PP30jGo2qtR-cBhBCBSOcBdqiCzHWOXMckk2CuW0/s1600/Just+Magnolia+Pink+Pearls+Lace.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9HS2_oSMSqYFCEe18wc7lWiFKwYWR0a2Bkq0SX5Zwo14RBnMZymPrLbXxdEjGm3ICYWLztXt_FaFyQd8ItvrMHl3vo7dldmOM9pq2PP30jGo2qtR-cBhBCBSOcBdqiCzHWOXMckk2CuW0/s320/Just+Magnolia+Pink+Pearls+Lace.JPG" width="315" /></a></div><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">This is Tilda With Daisy from the Sweet Crazy Love collection...and I just love her! I used a white lace trim on the bottom and topped it with some small pink fabric roses, and added some pearls to the flowers in the lace trim. I cut Tilda out with a SB Labels Four die, and colored her with Copics. I also added a pink vine from Memory Box called "Delicate Vine" and added some tiny pink pearls. For the sentiment, I thought I would "dangle" the heart from the top of the card with pink pearls LOL! And here's the inside of the card:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzzuah6mZkqbvDxEitoHOEm0K5DOecyQUNaargliqOuHJvcX3iZgreWD8pyRh9Vl0y8XQlGCzKcc4QVokCCFVZ86udkL21ZF0R-zJELFEndhDXIGfM_0fD43d9JIv-BRkP5spEoSAlTd1J/s1600/JM+Inside+of+Card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzzuah6mZkqbvDxEitoHOEm0K5DOecyQUNaargliqOuHJvcX3iZgreWD8pyRh9Vl0y8XQlGCzKcc4QVokCCFVZ86udkL21ZF0R-zJELFEndhDXIGfM_0fD43d9JIv-BRkP5spEoSAlTd1J/s320/JM+Inside+of+Card.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Very simple so it can lay flat when I mail it (postage has gone up again!). I used the same lace trim and SB die for the jotting area, added a pink gingham bow and topped it with a fabric rose and that's it!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and I hope to get back into cardmaking very soon, especially with all the lovely new images from the Sweet Crazy Love collection! Have a wonderful day . . . every day!</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;">Happy Sunday, fellow crafters! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and having fun. I'm still not quite ready to do some stamping and coloring, but that's okay because I had a few projects I had to work on for several different occasions. Here they are:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj79zwy0JR1lZDLrzQXfT7oNA6Lm7U5lzkDaxnei2GHRMCbjlDjhPTLk_OKf_WagaMxvgJgvrNFzFwsA2pQwVnCbK2-6BPJB8At-ktFrqA4hBeCqLHpna21xd8NTCBJ_Tt6h7FY_5xqJpQz/s1600/DSC02752.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="179" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj79zwy0JR1lZDLrzQXfT7oNA6Lm7U5lzkDaxnei2GHRMCbjlDjhPTLk_OKf_WagaMxvgJgvrNFzFwsA2pQwVnCbK2-6BPJB8At-ktFrqA4hBeCqLHpna21xd8NTCBJ_Tt6h7FY_5xqJpQz/s320/DSC02752.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;">I needed some small gift bags to tuck some goodies in and came up with these. The first isn't quite finished as I have to add a sentiment on it. It was made using a Sizzix Scallop Circle Bag XL die. My GF <a href="http://simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com/"><b><span style="color: magenta;">Linda </span></b></a>taught me how to make some flower butterflies so I've been busy making butterflies! I added some feathers to my butterflies and used one of them on the first goodie bag (thanks Linda!). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinBCKPgbz_HRyrlSGmfOXNM8ayh8vMCcT_pRDwTw_9Y9Ek8w7BT3X0j7IU2e_meDiIV9-kGWl8thQZmAgO0lS45cV-SwZzPCpZnvZtNassZv_OKzua3dIC-hqUeTyjkz7p7l0kQU7A_eBT/s1600/DSC02753.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinBCKPgbz_HRyrlSGmfOXNM8ayh8vMCcT_pRDwTw_9Y9Ek8w7BT3X0j7IU2e_meDiIV9-kGWl8thQZmAgO0lS45cV-SwZzPCpZnvZtNassZv_OKzua3dIC-hqUeTyjkz7p7l0kQU7A_eBT/s320/DSC02753.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used the same Sizzix die for these and added butterflies again. The pretty stems are from my sweet and lovely friend <b><span style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://suzanscards.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: magenta;">Suzan</span></a> </span></b>(my paper florist!). </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_cKj8THldWnPEDNPbb4E7S1tt6ee9iFYk0hd6MOACoRRAxCQ-re0x9qrH88EfwtCXiEA-SZErXK96ddv-3TfgjXc-RQrIhyphenhypheneVHJN8GN7sYKaqentsGS096JVrfDktpwXYDWVzkvU_CMfD/s1600/DSC02756.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="171" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_cKj8THldWnPEDNPbb4E7S1tt6ee9iFYk0hd6MOACoRRAxCQ-re0x9qrH88EfwtCXiEA-SZErXK96ddv-3TfgjXc-RQrIhyphenhypheneVHJN8GN7sYKaqentsGS096JVrfDktpwXYDWVzkvU_CMfD/s320/DSC02756.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">These goodie boxes were cut using a Sizzix "Box, Heart & Key" die. The sentiment is adhered to a SB Fancy Tags die. The flower was die-cut from a MFT Die-Namics Prima Donna Petals die that I just love because it naturally "cups" itself when you put them together. Beneath the flower (that you can't really see) is another die-cut piece from Memory Box called "Ringed Buckle" and I thought it made a pretty "doily" for the flower to sit on.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6gfyQ9BqATigWkcB3HNYoAILHfxXLRdatFR2gW5psY4Yiyh8-YfK9LZ03yVebptAJ5tufb48-cS_J5iMo6EEDiN8s8wuyI1Z26YCvYtowGysK5VNPis8ZxOhy8pfEodP7ovQ2a-qIDYDR/s1600/DSC02759.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="282" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6gfyQ9BqATigWkcB3HNYoAILHfxXLRdatFR2gW5psY4Yiyh8-YfK9LZ03yVebptAJ5tufb48-cS_J5iMo6EEDiN8s8wuyI1Z26YCvYtowGysK5VNPis8ZxOhy8pfEodP7ovQ2a-qIDYDR/s320/DSC02759.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here's the whole lot of them that I gave to fellow crafters at a "Class" I attended on Saturday. We had a lot of fun and made so many fun projects. Sorry this post was so long. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I wish you all a wonderful (upcoming) week, and happy crafting!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I can't believe I actually sat myself down and colored a few things with my new Sweet Crazy Love Collection stamps! The inspiration came from the <a href="http://www.magnolia-liciouschallengeblog.blogspot.com/"><b><span style="color: #a64d79;">Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog </span></b></a>for January, and the lovely and talented Cabio wants to see <span style="color: #c27ba0;"><b>Pink,</b></span> <span style="background-color: #ead1dc;"><span style="color: #eeeeee;"><b>White,</b></span></span> <span style="color: #cc0000;"><b>Red</b> </span>on our creations and my new Doodlebug "Sweet Cakes" 6x6 DP pad has just the colors! So, this I what I came up with:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTi7mvu8bZtBTvr9HHljItKFamUH9E_GQkr64bbhDxUAXwFvnigQjTeLmLYaGSaKlw6VtF3IJeQWl1aZ04Vy9V_kEXINB_8o8O0B8IjwwNDZAzxx8WVCuxarMhUsiuHzSHocbL7dEZvBSO/s1600/Tilda+with+Cozy+Heart.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTi7mvu8bZtBTvr9HHljItKFamUH9E_GQkr64bbhDxUAXwFvnigQjTeLmLYaGSaKlw6VtF3IJeQWl1aZ04Vy9V_kEXINB_8o8O0B8IjwwNDZAzxx8WVCuxarMhUsiuHzSHocbL7dEZvBSO/s320/Tilda+with+Cozy+Heart.JPG" width="318" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I don't know if it's my imagination, but the newer stamps seem to be a little bit smaller than before...but, hey, it's less for me to color! You can get your Magnolia stamps and also some Memory Box dies (and other goodies) from Diana's Magnolia online store, simply by clicking on the icon on my sidebar and you can shop for oodles of goodies! Deets on my card are below. I used foam tape for the sentiment and Tilda.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;"><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Happy New Year Everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the holiday festivities with family and friends, and had lots of yummy things to eat! I can't believe my last post was in November! Well, lots of family things have been happening, some good, some not too good, and I truly lost my interest for crafting. I can't even color with Copics anymore! I have been busy creating other things, but just not coloring in an image. So today, I have a few things I'd like to share with you.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I totally am in love with the Tim Holtz "Vintage Cabinet Card" die and have been playing with it since November. The finished size is about and A2 card, just a little smaller, so it's easy to mail. I've used Basic Grey 6"x6" Capella paper pad for all of the cards below. Here are a few of the cards I made as thank you cards and for the new year since I didn't make a single Christmas card. I finished around 12 of these cards as they were so fast and easy.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXdtbBYUJY7GMCQyBDd0vVNJ2d73K_HON2DLyx1Zu0pzrWI8F5-CQiZn3KfAZT-lVQAX8SlBlbx6nXUZAq07hq48XEftfMFaUVNXdaywRxX2Dgq14wModHvZckpPr9ydU2QOiyxIahsgQK/s1600/DSC02730.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="206" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXdtbBYUJY7GMCQyBDd0vVNJ2d73K_HON2DLyx1Zu0pzrWI8F5-CQiZn3KfAZT-lVQAX8SlBlbx6nXUZAq07hq48XEftfMFaUVNXdaywRxX2Dgq14wModHvZckpPr9ydU2QOiyxIahsgQK/s320/DSC02730.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tqzQ5kRu3HGS93n2InFLLVDD_m8lBTwbQ6_VUhyphenhyphendA86Ibh7flm3cuvuB-wTmImM8hfVuIzQSxfoWO5uSc2I6mR8RlwrUphZ-VlM60dV75ioI8aoMc0QrPOm4NPDcQDZr2y-WB3QMPNRS/s1600/DSC02729.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="223" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9tqzQ5kRu3HGS93n2InFLLVDD_m8lBTwbQ6_VUhyphenhyphendA86Ibh7flm3cuvuB-wTmImM8hfVuIzQSxfoWO5uSc2I6mR8RlwrUphZ-VlM60dV75ioI8aoMc0QrPOm4NPDcQDZr2y-WB3QMPNRS/s320/DSC02729.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOHRfGWIkl3oFWpB-SOKPjb8Rv6Utnxqg4VKqfIz3aj5EJ8Gz93u7gHT2udPykSxByQldMoVW56DutY9SiyDRCCymIa-g_OiRdeyXx70H5AzbwJMPxMIvQ4j6AdJMrQI6R26uFN-zazs5s/s1600/DSC02736.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="220" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOHRfGWIkl3oFWpB-SOKPjb8Rv6Utnxqg4VKqfIz3aj5EJ8Gz93u7gHT2udPykSxByQldMoVW56DutY9SiyDRCCymIa-g_OiRdeyXx70H5AzbwJMPxMIvQ4j6AdJMrQI6R26uFN-zazs5s/s320/DSC02736.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">The inside is basically the same layout, just different DPs that coordinated from the pack.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ8o_De9YpYUKLuINRRieqMqZMbgEJhmZ5OcZEyeWlUA-Phm75WEOjlt9Hkh5t03Uvgpyuw8MIJVy1Eygd8zbQ8gGdF4lnG0Nn9fjsOlDH1Icz3C50L3FfHSoSfrBBTuB8kwJ-PpwFc6Jc/s1600/DSC02734.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="162" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ8o_De9YpYUKLuINRRieqMqZMbgEJhmZ5OcZEyeWlUA-Phm75WEOjlt9Hkh5t03Uvgpyuw8MIJVy1Eygd8zbQ8gGdF4lnG0Nn9fjsOlDH1Icz3C50L3FfHSoSfrBBTuB8kwJ-PpwFc6Jc/s320/DSC02734.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I made a few with this sentiment on the front and inside.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Thank you for stopping by today, and now that I have some new Magnolia stamps, I'll be playing with them soon for Valentine's Day. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Hi fellow crafters! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and are resting up for the start of a new week. November kinda snuck up on us and the holiday season is a busy time for all. Today I would like to share a card I made back in September for my Card And Tag Swap (CATS). I wasn't able to post it since my partner was taking a blog break but I'm sure it's okay now LOL! Anyways, the theme for September was "Flowers" so I decided to use my sweet Tilda With Flower Pot for my swap. Still one of my faves among all my faves LOL!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQv4quHCYuhnV7S2WefxWMVJDpPYcfxPZWBzOssD1ykrD6z_Eq-jJyjeqiGDbCrUL2cVCXcni5Ub9aYj1BzwhAPPPYpyu1Wg819vwkELhMH9wbqNrrx5-G3Of6ayCCNZ4o8ChTikPbZkt8/s1600/CATS+Sept+Flowers+for+Donna.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQv4quHCYuhnV7S2WefxWMVJDpPYcfxPZWBzOssD1ykrD6z_Eq-jJyjeqiGDbCrUL2cVCXcni5Ub9aYj1BzwhAPPPYpyu1Wg819vwkELhMH9wbqNrrx5-G3Of6ayCCNZ4o8ChTikPbZkt8/s320/CATS+Sept+Flowers+for+Donna.JPG" width="248" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This is the front of the card and I've used a SB tag die to keep the "window" closed. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">When you open the window, you'll see Tilda with her flower pot peeking out. My awning is made using SU! word window punch. I saw this idea several years ago when this punch first came out and didn't make a note of the creator, so I apologize. I embossed the window panels with TH woodgrain embossing flolder (not sure of the exact name of this folder). And here you see Tilda peeking out, holding her flower pot. I paper-pieced her coat. Coloring was done using Copics.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />

I made my first (and only?) Halloween card! I used "Tilda With Spiderweb" from the 2008 Autumn Halloween collection. I had fun coloring her, but still need lots more practice coloring black hair!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I'll keep this post short. Although you can't really tell in the pic, it's an easel card and I used my MS PATP Spider Web punches for the base, and MS Iron Fence on the card. Tilda is colored with Copics and I added some Golden Rod Stickles to her web. I kept the easel "stopper" simple, using only a bow, because I didn't want to cover the DP that says "Trick or Treat." </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji-YMMrnYi6_U_Fu-A7wWzL1orkpiPbbea-b2pO3I6VZIUg3k6KHipm0MPSoMni-SWSscpwX0BN5dutL-QCr8gWX-09UME14WNoSxRuTdUL45Et-7DR_b3qkA3y52wHmyzsvdC21rgb26L/s1600/Card+for+Suzan.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEji-YMMrnYi6_U_Fu-A7wWzL1orkpiPbbea-b2pO3I6VZIUg3k6KHipm0MPSoMni-SWSscpwX0BN5dutL-QCr8gWX-09UME14WNoSxRuTdUL45Et-7DR_b3qkA3y52wHmyzsvdC21rgb26L/s320/Card+for+Suzan.JPG" width="177" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for stopping by and if I don't get a chance to post again before Halloween, I wish you all a HAPPY HALLOWEEN and hope you get more treats than tricks!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Have a "BOO-tiful" day everyone!</span></div><a href="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5199/butterfly4signature.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />

Hope your week is going well and you're gearing up for the weekend! I was tucked away in my craft room making some very special cards for some very special children for a very good deed adventure that my friend <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #38761d;">Kris</span> has undertaken. You can read all about this wonderful adventure on Kris's blog <a href="http://klusivekreations.blogspot.com/"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><b>here</b></span></a>. </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">In a nutshell, the cards are 4" x 4" and didn't require much fussiness so I was able to make these 15 cards in two days. I felt wonderful after completing them because I know they are for a very special person and to do a good deed is spiritually uplifting. So on to my meager cards:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5wrVZ8_TbZIvPUpUDbvrH6QWFBucrRw8P-MlFQoz53P8DTBSlX6ysnyIg1bGaUKxP4qdW5t4DIIdkRN2O0wRSdqCg-abZUYtSy6hS9cCEG_22DpaF8hh-nPkKs_Z1PKvAXRw01tHP8TxY/s1600/For+Kris+P.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="294" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5wrVZ8_TbZIvPUpUDbvrH6QWFBucrRw8P-MlFQoz53P8DTBSlX6ysnyIg1bGaUKxP4qdW5t4DIIdkRN2O0wRSdqCg-abZUYtSy6hS9cCEG_22DpaF8hh-nPkKs_Z1PKvAXRw01tHP8TxY/s320/For+Kris+P.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">I decided to work with only four different images so I could "mass produce" them so the basic layout is the same. I had to hunt down some non-gender-specific images and I really don't have much (sigh!). The sentiment on the little red heart says, "Have yourself a merry little Christmas." And here's the whole lot that I'll be sending out to Kris tomorrow:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHlHKlDva1z1jeHBok3sqQqXmeiv0qDX9Tk2GwaJfIRDnDDgZRUCtheWpqc50t7CwWsMkuwJIXRABx-o47i9iQEy71-qUDleAINnrrPwv-FSL6yLS37C1PQ9EB7P3r_2dRLIVcX4DfvpAn/s1600/For+Kris+P+All+Cards.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHlHKlDva1z1jeHBok3sqQqXmeiv0qDX9Tk2GwaJfIRDnDDgZRUCtheWpqc50t7CwWsMkuwJIXRABx-o47i9iQEy71-qUDleAINnrrPwv-FSL6yLS37C1PQ9EB7P3r_2dRLIVcX4DfvpAn/s320/For+Kris+P+All+Cards.JPG" width="274" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Kris, you (and your Aunt) have a heart of gold and I'm glad I was able to contribute a meager portion for this wonderful good deed adventure of yours. The children will definitely smile when they receive their special Christmas present. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">To all you wonderfully talented crafters out ther, it's not too late to help contribute a card for this very special project. Okay, today I'd like to share a card with you and it is from the 3rd release from <a href="http://sisterstamps.blogspot.com/"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;"><b>Sister Stamps</b></span></a>! I played with "Yuki" which means either Blessing or Snow. She is so adorable, enjoying her stocking full of Christmas toys! There are three stamps in this release and you can see them on my sidebar. Click on the icon and there you will find a list of where you can purchase them. So, here is my "version" of Yuki enjoying her Christmas toys:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-xGnA51ITZqyvMSd_ca5F227ono27RRoAQyedqnGRQzLkXwahHRPmkCehdIx_apvxNic9faKZ7EPvfk9hNDovMTfHOaunDK21wjn-w9mUPNlX29MBc2mIkj8caA1DFRO8W6bY5O1XIfWd/s1600/Sister+Stamps+%25233+Yuki.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-xGnA51ITZqyvMSd_ca5F227ono27RRoAQyedqnGRQzLkXwahHRPmkCehdIx_apvxNic9faKZ7EPvfk9hNDovMTfHOaunDK21wjn-w9mUPNlX29MBc2mIkj8caA1DFRO8W6bY5O1XIfWd/s320/Sister+Stamps+%25233+Yuki.JPG" width="307" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">My card base is 5.5" square (PTI cardstock), layered with Bazzill (red), then a green dotted CS which I punched out the border with my new MS "Scallop Snowflake" border punch that I got from an HSN special, and finally a rectangle of DP from We R Memory Keepers-Merry & Bright stack. The Christmas tree is die-cut from Lifestyle Crafts/QuicKutz "Nesting Trees" and I added some teeny-tiny punched sakura flowers (<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: red;">thanks Jenny!</span>) and I know, I overdid it! LOL! I meant so scatter a few, but there were so many in the package I just went gung-ho and I thought oh well, the tree could use some sparkle! I also added some white flock to the cuff of the stocking to give it a warm, fuzzy feel. So that's it. Thank you for stopping by, and </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I wish you all a wonderful week, and as the holiday season is rolling around so fast, I'm sure you'll all be busy crafting away so have fun!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Holiday Hugs . . .</span></div><a href="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5199/butterfly4signature.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5199/butterfly4signature.png" style="background-attachment: scroll; background-clip: initial; background-color: transparent; background-image: none; background-origin: initial; background-position: 0% 0%; background-repeat: repeat repeat; border-bottom-style: none; border-bottom-width: medium; border-color: initial; border-left-style: none; border-left-width: medium; border-right-style: none; border-right-width: medium; border-top-style: none; border-top-width: medium;" width="400" /></a>Camihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14291654693097554556noreply@blogger.com20tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1589627288452103621.post-13189214432090642402011-09-14T22:18:00.000-10:002011-09-14T22:18:49.436-10:00C.A.T.S. Swap - August 2011<div style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Hi crafters! Hope your week is going well so far and I'm sure we're all looking forward to the upcoming weekend! Today I have something very special to share with you. The artist is a sweet friend of mine and many of you know her in blogland as <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: magenta;">"Mama" </span>of <b style="background-color: #eeeeee;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://www.luvnthejourney.blogspot.com/">LuvntheJourney!</a> </span></b> Well, she was my partner for August for the CATS swap hosted by <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #351c75;"><b><a href="http://www.joyntaesplacetobeme.blogspot.com/">Joy</a></b></span>. You sign up and are committed for three months. Go check out the details on Joy's blog...I believe the sign up is still open! </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Going back to my partner for September, when I say "artist" I mean she's extremely talented and often times I wish I could craft with her all day! You'll see what I mean when you see her awesome creation below. The theme for August was ribbons and she made the cutest, sweetest little velvet flowers! I had to ask her to tell me how she did it! Anyway, here's her awesome creations:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGYxgKmy6lekETW5PK9HgGdBel1Sx2_CuKCLK6YbA6VstamcPAutYrBTsgR0WYYUQGI-XQsGBpyByNMXMCQtmqP8Gcmoi76cxQPqOXrnfb-P7mVvs02K6Aqns7XdBK47ilxRebeJxw4q7b/s1600/DSC02671.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="272" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGYxgKmy6lekETW5PK9HgGdBel1Sx2_CuKCLK6YbA6VstamcPAutYrBTsgR0WYYUQGI-XQsGBpyByNMXMCQtmqP8Gcmoi76cxQPqOXrnfb-P7mVvs02K6Aqns7XdBK47ilxRebeJxw4q7b/s320/DSC02671.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Isn't this an incredible triple easel card?!!! And her coloring is just awesome. If only you could see it IRL. I'm so happy because I get to have several colored images from her! If you want to know how Mama made this card, go check our her blog <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: magenta;"><a href="http://www.luvnthejourney.blogspot.com/">here</a> </span>for all the details. In addition to a card, she created a matching tag, and that's what CATS stands for . . . Card And Tag Swap! </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">One more thing I want to share with you...Mama also sent me a Birthday Gift and look at how she wrapped it...and colored this beautiful Anya:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWkcI6H_Ua_38lgEUjPDSWppHRJVFInl6h1b5YiO3_FDRapFDTTP9_cTmfJ_6KC3N6SLgMhd0pjB2P38hqM7q92yJgPM_djQnZa4mFtHUuBjUy7PHBVq0QfHBJ5OB3h5cDq7wgoWYtKrB5/s1600/BirthdayAnya2_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWkcI6H_Ua_38lgEUjPDSWppHRJVFInl6h1b5YiO3_FDRapFDTTP9_cTmfJ_6KC3N6SLgMhd0pjB2P38hqM7q92yJgPM_djQnZa4mFtHUuBjUy7PHBVq0QfHBJ5OB3h5cDq7wgoWYtKrB5/s1600/BirthdayAnya2_1.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Oh besides being talented, she is so sweet. <div style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Happy Tuesday/Wednesday fellow crafters! I'm back with my Card And Tag Swap (CATS) for August. My partner is the wonderfully talented <a href="http://www.luvnthejourney.blogspot.com/">Mama!</a> It was a bit nerve wrecking for me because Mama does beautiful work and I'm so many notches below her caliber but I bit the bullet and thought as soon as I got my swap done, my stomach would settle down and there's no more fingernails to bite on LOL! The requirement for this month's swap was to use ribbon. Sounds easy enough right? WRONG! I wanted to use it in a different sort of way besides just tying a ribbon around my card and tag and adding a bow, so I decided to make little ribbon flowers. (Caution: Long post!) Okay, enough blabbering so here's my humble card for Mama:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVRAMUGgcz8COipYVJpj3qNfNKHghmF43ZDHfNFsLtgdMnSTaM3tqbCyvZodaTbmhKkRkCij_DjOP0zfhfNG1UifxOLc8yfad1kQZk049IdlCQ5uPI79MeLHa6G1wDjMvKcFdIECuvwxhF/s1600/DSC02661.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVRAMUGgcz8COipYVJpj3qNfNKHghmF43ZDHfNFsLtgdMnSTaM3tqbCyvZodaTbmhKkRkCij_DjOP0zfhfNG1UifxOLc8yfad1kQZk049IdlCQ5uPI79MeLHa6G1wDjMvKcFdIECuvwxhF/s320/DSC02661.JPG" width="303" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">About a month ago, Sugar Nellie came out with some new images for the Sherbet Pips line and here I've used "Candy Pip" on the cover. I put some teeny-tiny buttons on her dress and added some small bows to the top of her head and on the flourish leaf. </span></div><a href="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5199/butterfly4signature.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />

The "jotting" piece fits just inside/behind the picket fence and here I used some pleated ribbon topped with some velvet ric-rac trim, added a flower and the butterflies. I wanted the jotting piece to look like a "house" behind the picket fence but I didn't do a very good job at it. Below you can see the jotting piece removed from behind the fence:</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOLWcNsgIPRe9shjUjC5HoHcckca1rgdrHsyRrN3m_g3OMAZSstpQMyMiPKDNIC6h7_40styJvaZ9YZ1uMN2A0bvSB4yQZ7pQSf3kNSGBd08yWPg_6-XyHBXx4snjhk7BgnLTF6AmYX_Sc/s1600/DSC02664.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="182" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOLWcNsgIPRe9shjUjC5HoHcckca1rgdrHsyRrN3m_g3OMAZSstpQMyMiPKDNIC6h7_40styJvaZ9YZ1uMN2A0bvSB4yQZ7pQSf3kNSGBd08yWPg_6-XyHBXx4snjhk7BgnLTF6AmYX_Sc/s320/DSC02664.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Lastly, I finished my tag with another Cherry Pip. July Swap from Joni!<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Happy Aloha Friday! Today I have a <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #cc0000;"><b><i>DELIGHTFUL</i></b></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #990000;"> </span>card to share with you! I signed up to play in Joy's "Cards And Tags Swap" (CATS) and if you'd like more info, check it out <a href="http://www.joyntaesaplacetobeme.blogspot.com/"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: blue;">here</span></a>. For July, I was honored to have as my partner the super talented <a href="http://www.craftyhulahands.blogspot.com/"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #cc0000;"><b>Joni of Crafty Hula Hands</b></span></a>. This month's challenge is a color challenge and we were asked to use the colors Red, White, and Blue. Gulp! I'm <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #cc0000;">NOT</span> good when it comes to coloring or working with blues! Poor Joni, but lucky ME! Look at what she made for me:</span><br />

I LOVE THIS! </span> Joni has colored Marci to perfection. If only you could see it IRL! I love how the pretty blue bow really picks up the same shade as the blue in the DP, and the red punched border and flowers brightens the card. Joni also added some crystal lacquer to Marci's swim tube...like real plastic! Wow! So much detail to her coloring and layout. Joni also sent me those beautiful silver charm butterflies! I LOVE butterflies, so thank you, Joni! I need to get me more shades of blue Copic markers, so I can practice! It was truly a fun swap. Thank you Joni for being my partner, and thank you Joy, for hosting this swap! </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">I wish you all a fun-filled weekend, doing what you love, and being with the ones you love.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;">Warm Aloha Hugs,</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/5199/butterfly4signature.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><br />

I decided to play along with the <a href="http://www.justmagnolia.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: magenta;">Just Magnolia and hÄnglar and stÄnglar challenge</span></a> this week and they want to see "Pink, Purple, and Pearls" so this is what I came up with:</div><div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwPI4EPMZQZIEwkvVq2eY3s_PEws9WNoBdXu0iWxLWqA6Cl8Hc0sPidXV0JPl0Yp0z6TeTPAEG7DlztK7DCFol_rK4mA6D7Omdu27AP21DF5_vb1Qhhh1qoZmvhlN_2Wj4wBz4LVFnWLQD/s1600/Just+Magnolia+Pink+Purple+Pearls.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" m$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwPI4EPMZQZIEwkvVq2eY3s_PEws9WNoBdXu0iWxLWqA6Cl8Hc0sPidXV0JPl0Yp0z6TeTPAEG7DlztK7DCFol_rK4mA6D7Omdu27AP21DF5_vb1Qhhh1qoZmvhlN_2Wj4wBz4LVFnWLQD/s320/Just+Magnolia+Pink+Purple+Pearls.JPG" width="319" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">Okay, I'm not good at photography, but the dotted "tan" looking DP is really lighter IRL, like the top portion of the card, but I just could not adjust the pic to show the true colors so please ignore it for now. Here is "Congratulation Tilda" #233 from Diana's Magnolia-licious web store. Simple click on her store icon on my sidebar to shop 24/7. I stamped this image with Memento black tuxedo on PTI CS and paper pieced her dress, party hat, and gift using DP by Maja Design. I also punched out the butterfly using my Doohickey butterfly punch from the Maja DP and also from PTI CS and layered it. The small purple roses beneath the pink rose looks almost black! Sorry about that. I've added pearls to her shoes, the butterfly, and a white pearl flourish beneath the butterfly although it's hard to see in the pic.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;">Thank you for stopping by today. I'm sorry I haven't been blog hopping lately, but I've been cleaning up my craft room AGAIN because I somehow lost my "workspace" and had to put things back where they belong and it ended up taking quite a bit of time (sigh!). I'll be visiting blogs shortly and wish you all a wonderful day!</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

It is so lovely and elegant, just like her! Her coloring knocks my socks off! I'm such a bad photographer and I know I'm not doing her any justice, so I apologize. She is so detail oriented and there are so many elements she used and put together so beautifully! Just look at her gorgeous coloring! You can find more of her wonderful creations <a href="http://stampinforthefunofit.blogspot.com/"><strong><span style="color: #a64d79;">here</span></strong></a>. Thank you so very much, Shirley, for sending me one of your masterpieces and the SB Fancy Tags Three that I will definitely put to good use. What I appreciate and treasure most is the friendship we have developed, and I am grateful for that. Ahhhh, the wonderful world of blogland! <br />

My pics don't do justice to her beautiful creations. They are so dimensional IRL, and I get to enjoy them every day. I still can't believe it's July already! Please enjoy these wonderful works of art and I know it will give you inspiration. Today, my GF and I went to a rubber stamp expo and bought some cute 6" x 6" mini albums and we thought we'd make calendar pages for 2012 . . . keeping fingers crossed we actually make them LOL! Anyway, please enjoy these calendar pages:</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />

Hope your week is going well. It's almost mid-week or it already is for some of you. The deadline for entering the <a href="http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2011/06/week-112-butterfly-theme.html"><span style="color: magenta;">Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Week 112 Challenge</span></a> is almost closing so I'd better post this quickly. The theme is: Butterflies! I've chosen to use some paper from DCWV Mariposa and the papers are very glittery in gold and covered with butterflies so I've kept my embellishments on the very simple side with not much frills or it may be overkill. I don't know why, but in the picture, the twill ribbon I used from PTI (Sweet Blush) looks pink whereas IRL it's quite similar to SU!'s Blush on the peachy side. Anyways, here's my card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM1x8z8wR4AiML5L6UUdgj4pOYjERAqxNox31kR8zVahREZDcIb_Zh-sT6k98eaV2Wfl4BHsytXbf4-Y_RuhU-XGqU6VaI9qiwXsX139KYRONamJM4qzttO1VWuRSln7n9oYu4p2xOi7gG/s1600/JM+and+HS+Butterflies.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" i$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM1x8z8wR4AiML5L6UUdgj4pOYjERAqxNox31kR8zVahREZDcIb_Zh-sT6k98eaV2Wfl4BHsytXbf4-Y_RuhU-XGqU6VaI9qiwXsX139KYRONamJM4qzttO1VWuRSln7n9oYu4p2xOi7gG/s320/JM+and+HS+Butterflies.JPG" width="311px" /></a></div>See how pink the ribbon looks? My card base is also PTI Sweet Blush, 5.5" square, and the mat pieces are a gold metallic CS. The lonely flower is from Magnolia. I colored Tilda with Hawaii Flower with Copics and added some gold Spica gel pen over the butterfly and her hair for some sparkle, although you can't see it in the pic. Here's a pic of the inside of my card:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbD7me4sSPeqh7pkNfYOuCP527DplScvhWH5WAAFNnvmVupaSIAjPFz_E4u0T6LW2JB2KhQEfMIok38T6Z-Pxw5nbdvP4rKPl0ddEtv3r4BGaKOLiVM1FurxmkLgPvGzuY75Lywn0f2ujX/s1600/Inside+with+note+card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" i$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbD7me4sSPeqh7pkNfYOuCP527DplScvhWH5WAAFNnvmVupaSIAjPFz_E4u0T6LW2JB2KhQEfMIok38T6Z-Pxw5nbdvP4rKPl0ddEtv3r4BGaKOLiVM1FurxmkLgPvGzuY75Lywn0f2ujX/s320/Inside+with+note+card.JPG" width="218px" /></a></div>On the bottom of the card, the black "border" you see is actually part of the print on the DP. I cut a slit on that black line to create a "pocket" for my notecard to slip into. It's rather hard to see because the notecard blends in a bit. The next pic shows the notecard removed:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxkh6QYwgpLGtIaIWgFK5FEhzi4Usocz3uW6MzMOAHCndYF5MU2O_DtY5avEHNYcJJBMe3cZhYCwTJcA2BlJlfaLZlS_57mapeLDj2po4LqXwKoIo7qwWjKLoBq4lfv0l9g55m2mBm8kxw/s1600/Note+card+removed.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" i$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxkh6QYwgpLGtIaIWgFK5FEhzi4Usocz3uW6MzMOAHCndYF5MU2O_DtY5avEHNYcJJBMe3cZhYCwTJcA2BlJlfaLZlS_57mapeLDj2po4LqXwKoIo7qwWjKLoBq4lfv0l9g55m2mBm8kxw/s320/Note+card+removed.JPG" width="234px" /></a></div>I folded a piece of the PTI Sweet Blush CS and die-cut it with my SB Labels One die leaving a bit of a hinge on the top, then die-cut two more pieces from the DP to cover the front and back.<br />
Well, that's it for this card. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by. Have a wonderful day wherever you are, and happy crafting!<br />
<br />
Hugs, <br />

I had a chance to work on a card and thought I'd do one for the <a href="http://magnolia-licioushighlites.blogspot.com/"><span style="color: #cc0000;">Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge</span></a>. The theme is Black + White + Pop (one other color). I thought it would be fun to play along but oh does my coloring "black" hair suck! I know I need to keep practicing and that I will do, but at this point, I gave up for now so what you see is what you get for now LOL! I chose to use <span style="color: #cc0000;">red </span>as my Pop color and I know for sure I'll be challenging myself to use other colors, too! So, here is my failed "black haired" Tilda:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQco1uJ9QxcAkOj5s7nF-cS8uQleqWmKoEJBioG2nD038L3zBI_8xpiUsI9c-Iqnnyrdi4Ne3-WIiYv2Tt6EFsv3o_D_Lp6kFuBBchWzB2f3YqMQt-Tesajo1OsL2G6Afk_phABTH5JhZn/s1600/Magnolia+Highlites+2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" i$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQco1uJ9QxcAkOj5s7nF-cS8uQleqWmKoEJBioG2nD038L3zBI_8xpiUsI9c-Iqnnyrdi4Ne3-WIiYv2Tt6EFsv3o_D_Lp6kFuBBchWzB2f3YqMQt-Tesajo1OsL2G6Afk_phABTH5JhZn/s320/Magnolia+Highlites+2.JPG" width="315px" /></a></div>I don't have much to say about this card as the DPs and flowers are from my "supply box" and it's filled with odds and ends from previous projects. The heart die is from Nellie Snellen (MFD 022 Heart) and the flourish is from Marianne Design Creatables (LR0116). I decorated the inside also but kept it very flat while trying to maintain the same theme:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQ9DRskAttT8wTYU-4R2URX5w4l6BjJKGBEtUTwBVyrKErGaYIy-QfyRVwo6PmvQCH-YC8JMDdDt0XAGaWG3tmFly64CZ5EXAKr-GmUn7TqsvrSSEUJIOvN1pKdrOtUnW-OpjfuKIe2ka/s1600/MH+BW%252B1+Inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" i$="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQ9DRskAttT8wTYU-4R2URX5w4l6BjJKGBEtUTwBVyrKErGaYIy-QfyRVwo6PmvQCH-YC8JMDdDt0XAGaWG3tmFly64CZ5EXAKr-GmUn7TqsvrSSEUJIOvN1pKdrOtUnW-OpjfuKIe2ka/s320/MH+BW%252B1+Inside.JPG" width="317px" /></a></div>My card looks bare like something is missing but I decided to stop here so Tilda doesn't get "lost" among all the dots LOL! Kinda plain and simple but I know I'll just mess it up if I add something I'm not sure of at this point. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. I truly appreciate your critique so I can consider it in my furture cards.<br />
Have a wonderful, fun-filled weekend, stay safe, and happy crafting.<br />
